Sourcing Agent

Brief to RFQ.

Describe what you need in plain language; the agent turns it into a structured request for quotes (RFQ).

What it does

Turn a short brief into a structured RFQ: title, quantity, budget estimate, how you will score bids, and which suppliers to invite.

What you can do here

  • Paste what you need, or click an example to fill the brief.
  • Click Draft RFQ to parse quantity, category, budget, criteria, and suggested suppliers.
  • Adjust evaluation weights and supplier invites, then Publish RFQ to open the event.

Behind the scenes

The agent reads your brief for quantity, timing, and category, estimates budget from contracted catalog prices or recent spend, sets default scoring weights you can change, and suggests active suppliers in that category while excluding anyone blocked.

Example: Brief: "180 engineering laptops, 32GB, 3-year warranty, delivery in Q1" maps to IT Hardware, about $428,400 from the Apex ProBook contract price ($2,380 × 180), with Apex Devices and Quanta Hardware as likely invites.
