Every supplier verified before the first payment, and watched after it.
The Supplier Agent covers the whole supplier lifecycle. Before a supplier is paid it reads the onboarding pack, checks owners against the registry, screens names, and tests every bank-detail change for fraud. After that it keeps scoring cyber, financial, delivery and quality signals, and ties each one to the spend, contracts and open orders at stake.
How it works
The same pipeline you see in the live module, step by step.
- 1
Read the pack
Split the onboarding pack or bank-change request into documents: registration, ownership form, bank letter, tax and insurance documents, emails.
- 2
Verify owners and screen
Compare registry shareholders with the declaration, surface any undeclared owner, and screen every name. Watchlist matches are never auto-cleared.
- 3
Test the bank details
Check the account holder against the legal name, the bank country, the request channel, lookalike sender domains, urgency, checksums and accounts shared with other vendors.
- 4
Decide with a person
Propose approve, request specific documents, escalate or reject. The preparer cannot approve, and bank changes need a call-back to a known contact.
- 5
Keep watching
Score signals continuously with time decay, map them to POs, contracts and held invoices, recommend mitigations, and track each one to closure.
Checks and rules
Deterministic logic runs on every action; optional AI enriches text when configured.
- Undeclared owners found in registry extracts
- Watchlist matches with date-of-birth and country notes
- Bank holder vs legal and trading name; bank country vs supplier country
- Lookalike sender domains, email or phone requests, urgency before a payment run
- IBAN and US routing checksums; tax ID or account shared with another vendor
- Signal severity, delivery, quality and single-source concentration after onboarding
What you get

- Bank details on file vs requested, side by side
- Findings quoted from the documents they came from

Where teams use Supplier Agent
Questions
Does it need my ERP?
The live demo runs on a shared procurement record (requests, POs, receipts, invoices, contracts, and spend). In production you connect your ERP or AP system via API or scheduled file exchange so matching uses your real PO and goods-receipt data. Until then, every rule runs the same way on the demo dataset.
Does it depend on an AI model to work?
No. Every decision runs through Stellitron's deterministic rules first: tolerance math, playbook comparisons, weighted bid scoring and classification maps, so results are repeatable and auditable. Stellitron Intelligence adds document reading, drafting and plain-language explanations on top, and the agents keep working if it is unavailable.
Who approves?
Agents recommend and trace; people approve. Intake routes to managers, category owners, Finance, and the CPO by amount and category. Invoices on exception stay on hold until AP approves, requests a credit note, or rejects a duplicate. Contracts, sourcing awards, and supplier blocks follow your owners in the app — the agent surfaces the evidence, not the signature.
Why one agent for onboarding and risk?
Because it is one job. The checks you run before the first payment are the ones you need again when something changes later. One agent keeps one record per supplier, so nothing falls between two tools.
What happened in the Halden Supply demo case?
An email from halden-supply.co (not haldensupply.com on file) asked to pay a Cyprus account for “H Supply Trading LLC” before Friday’s payment run. The agent escalates and requires a phone call-back to a contact already in your vendor master, not the email sender.
Can we block a supplier from here?
Yes. Blocking updates supplier status, logs activity, and causes the Invoice Agent to fail matches on that supplier until you reactivate them.
